The vacation home is convenient and central, situated in the ground level of our house which can be found right behind the hotel "Sigls". Renting possible during the whole year.
When driving on autobahn A17, then take the B172 highway to Bad Schandau (market) and change direction towards Hinterhermsdorf along the river Kirnitzsch until you reach the hotel "Sigls". You are just 300m away from the center (river Elbe).

The Parkhotel, located amidst a grand park next to the Elbe promenade of the idyllic spa Bad Schandau and rich in tradition, is looking forward to your visit. The architectural ensemble of the Parkhotel is characterised by two lovingly restored villas and the relocated building of the "Residenz Elbblick". The family-led land hotel is situated in the municipality Gohrisch. Hiking and groups of seniors are cordially welcome with good discounts on groups. Organization of day schedules, BBQ and much more. Friendly service in our restaurant with fresh regional kitchen. Seasonal change of menu before Easter time (visible on our homepage). On public holidays there will be an additional menu with breakfast buffet and half-board with 3 course meal with 2 choosable main courses. If desired we prepare lunch packets for you.
Our 28 guest rooms are all equipped with Shower/WC, SAT-TV and telephone.

In Bad Schandau beginnt auch das wild-romantische Kirnitzschtal mit seinen zahllosen Wanderrouten zu Highlights wie dem Malerweg, dem Kuhstallfelsentor oder den „Affensteinen“.

Situated in its own forest park on a light hill in the air health resort Gohrisch the atmosphere is calm and recreative. Königstein and Bad Schandau are both only 3km away. The next larger places are Pirna and Dresden. Use the advantages of Saxon Switzerland with its wonderful look-outs, over 1200 km signposted hiking trails and over 120 sights of baroque which can be seen on a steamboat trip. Or you follow the traces of historical Dresden with its rebuild Church of Our Lady, or get inspired by visiting a performance in the Semper opera or one of the many attractive museums. Of course the modern Dresden is really quite worth a visit as well.

Located 180 meters above a deep sandstone canyon of the river Elbe, between Děčín and the border checkpoint of Hřensko, is a terrace built at the beginning of the 18th century. There is an amazing bird’s eye view from The Belveder. You can see the Elbe canyon, a huge valley surrounded by high rocks with the Elbe River flowing through. In the summertime, at evenings, when the sky is painted with so many beautiful colors, it’s a magical place. Adjacent to this terrace is a Hotel which shares the same name as the vista – Belveder. The surrounding countryside is favorite place for walkers and all around there are excellent places for mountaineering. From there you can easily reach the popular beauty-spot of Soutěsky and the world-famous Pravčická brána.
