We invite you to what is probably the most beautiful holiday region in Germany.
Our resort is surrounded by breathtaking nature and poetic sandstone formations. Immerse yourself in a world full of deceleration and well-being. With direct eye contact to the bastion, you can relax at the pool or conquer the barefoot pad.

The wellness area is freely available to you. Not only do we offer you plenty of space to relax and switch off - you can also experience many activities in and around our resort. Children's playgrounds, e-bike rental and the Malerweg are just a stone's throw away. Discover Saxon Switzerland with all its facets. Let yourself be enchanted on the rock stage in Rathen or in the Tom Pauls Theater in Pirna. Climb the largest mountain fortress in Europe in Königstein. There are so many experiences in our region that we would like to recommend to you.
In our restaurant you will find excellent food and drinks with the best local ingredients.

The family-led land hotel is situated in the municipality Gohrisch. Hiking and groups of seniors are cordially welcome with good discounts on groups. Organization of day schedules, BBQ and much more. Friendly service in our restaurant with fresh regional kitchen. Seasonal change of menu before Easter time (visible on our homepage). On public holidays there will be an additional menu with breakfast buffet and half-board with 3 course meal with 2 choosable main courses. If desired we prepare lunch packets for you.
Our 28 guest rooms are all equipped with Shower/WC, SAT-TV and telephone.

Large, inexpensive holiday flat (61 square metres) in basement with living room, kitchen, bath/shower/WC and 2 bedrooms,
sun terrace and sheltered lounge; Guest parking lots on our property.
Bedlinen and dish towel are present. Towels are not placed. The rent contains all additional expenses, visitor´s tax is to be paid separately.
Purchase possibilities and several restaurants are nearby in the village or in the closer environment.

The bungalows and tourist accommodations are simply equipped: bunk beds, table and chairs as well as refrigerator and hot air blower for cold days.
Washing and shower possible, toilets are available in the social building and the sanitary container.
Your caravan can be also left on the stand during the winter months, as there will be daily security checks.

Die komplett neu sanierte Villa Waldfrieden befindet sich an der Elbe in Schmilka, einem Ortsteil von Bad Schandau, direkt neben dem Bio-Hotel Helvetia. Welcome to the village Waltersdorf, a borough of the town Bad Schandau. Waltersdorf is located beautifully in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, also known as the Saxon Switzerland.The most popular table mountain of Saxon Switzerland, the Lilienstein, is in close proximity. Likewise alot of other attractions worth visiting are the famous lookout-point Bastei, the health resort Rathen, the Gamrig mountain, the Polenztal valley and of course the town Bad Schandau. For climbing and hiking tours, our house is an ideal starting point.
